Who I am

Eva Moreno:

Venezuelan flutist based in Miami. Her versatility as a performer allows her to be in the music scene around South Florida in Orchestral, Academic ensembles, and World Music.

Co-founder and Leader of Bolivar Phil and its Bolivar Phil Academy project based in Miami and Online for Latin America.

Flutist, Piccolo player, and producer in projects such as TryO2, Eva Moreno Project, and Paganini Project also the Founder and CEO of New Arts academy based in Miami and Uruguay.

At an early age, she began her musical studies in the Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Venezuela “EL SISTEMA” in San Juan de Colón-Táchira, where she was a member of the Symphony Youth Orchestra since 1997 to 2004 and was part for three years of the Youth Soloist festivals. Eva, Continues her studies in the city of Caracas with Maestro Victor Rojas in the Latin American Flute Academic and UNEARTE.

Eva’s other studies and experience include courses festivals and Competitions in Venezuela, Spain, France,and England.

She has been under the tutoring of great Maestros such as Peter-Lukas Graf, (France) Michael Hasel (Germany), Jean-Louis Beaumadier (France), Philippe Bernold (France), Alexa Still (New Zealand), Michael Bellavance (Switzerland), David Formisano (Italy),Maxense Larrieu (France), Susan Milan (England).  in addition, some of the most renowned Venezuelan Maestros: José García Guerrero,Antonio Naranjo, Marco Granados, Raimundo Pineda, Enver Cuervos and Pedro Eustache.

She participated in “Encuentro Nacional de Flauta in Caracas (2006)” (National Flute Meeting 2006); “Academie Internationale d’Ete de Nice” in France (2007) (Nice International Summer Academy); Charterhouse Music festival in England (2008) (Summer Academy); IV Premio Internacional Andalucia Flauta (Flute Competition) (2010) in Spain  like finalist, International Flute and Piccolo Festival in Venezuela (2011).

In 2009 wins the contest to play a part in the flute section of the Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Caracas since 2009 to 2016 in which he appeared as a soloist on two occasions in the city of Caracas-Venezuela, (2012-2014) Moreno was a member of the Municipal woodwind quintet which she participated in many chamber music concerts and internationals tours. Also, she appears on different occasions as soloist with main regional Venezuela’s orchestras.

She taught in several “núcleos” (centers) of the Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela for more than ten years mainly in Latinoamerican Flute Academic, Music Academic Of Montalbán- Caracas, El Sistema Amazonas State, El Sistema Táchira State.
